Aston Harald Mekaniska Verkstad is growing, and we are now looking for experienced CNC operators for the night shift in our milling department.

Aston Harald Mekaniska Verkstad is a production partner to customers in sectors such as marine, defense, aerospace, and industrial systems. This means working with complex components where the demands for quality, traceability, and precision are high.

For you as an operator, this means:

  • that after safety (which always comes first!), we prioritize thinking ahead and doing things right rather than rushing through tasks
  • a job where what you do is actually used in critical contexts
  • opportunities to develop as an employee in a workshop with many different machines and areas of expertise

Many of our employees appreciate the pride in knowing that what we do is complex and something not everyone can accomplish.

About the job

This is a job for you who know the trade, enjoy responsibility, and want to work in a modern workshop where people, quality, and long-term thinking are taken seriously.

You will work with our larger milling machines in a team where trust and collaboration are central. The work involves:

  • ensuring that running machines operate stably and with the right quality
  • monitoring one or more machines simultaneously
  • measuring, controlling, and documenting according to the control plan
  • performing operator maintenance and contributing to improvements

This is a job that requires precision, judgment, and professional pride – not just “feeding parts”.

Why do people enjoy working with us?

Our employees often highlight that:

  • the workshop is clean, modern, and less physically demanding than many others
  • the machine park is modern and adapted for large components
  • we are a family-oriented company that wants work to fit with life
  • there is an open atmosphere – you can talk to managers and leadership who have themselves started on the shop floor
  • the company is doing well, and it shows – we celebrate successes together

Who we believe you are

You have worked for a few years in a workshop and:

  • have a workshop education or equivalent experience
  • can read technical drawings and understand measurement techniques
  • have forklift and overhead crane licenses
  • are quality-conscious, responsible, and solution-oriented

About the future

We are growing, and there are good opportunities for you who want to develop. If you show commitment and take initiative, there are both responsibilities and new roles to grow into over time.

Application

Send your application to: [email protected]

Selection is ongoing. Do not wait to submit your application.

Welcome to a company where professional skill, people, and long-term thinking go hand in hand.

The work is currently organized in two shifts, and during the training period, you will also work two shifts.

We do not wish to be contacted by recruitment agencies!
